Featured Campaign: Social Distancing Learning Resources

I worked with staff to plan, create, schedule, and publish content across our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts as part of our Social Distancing Learning Resources campaign.

I announced the content on social media, followed by regularly posting scheduled updates and weekly content including “Of the Day” collections features, #TextileTuesday Salem Fiberarts Guild features, #ThrowbackThursday blog post features, and #FlashbackFriday “Then and Now” history features.

This campaign resulted in a 16% increase in followers on Instagram over the four months we ran the campaign and a solid audience that continues to steadily grow.

Featured Campaign: Studio & Gallery Tour

To publicize the 2018 Studio & Gallery Tour, I decided to take a photo of myself holding the tour guide I had designed. Throughout the day of the event, I went to each of the stops featured in the guide and took photos of the artists and their work.

One of the posts from this campaign received 26 “likes” which remains the second highest amount of likes for any photo on the account to date.

The highest amount of likes a post has received on the account to date is a post I made as a volunteer on Feb. 2, 2019 for a gallery opening with 30 likes.

Featured Campaign: Bookstagram

When I started as an intern for OSU Press, there were only 9 posts on the account. It was my mission to grow the account using the bookstagram theme of taking aesthetic photos of books to market them on Instagram. 17 of the original posts I made are still on the account 4 years later and had paved the way for an account of now 115 posts.
